concept planning
After briefing + a site visit, I will establish your end buyer demographics + research what will most appeal to your prospective buyers + what they expect to see in your property.
I’ll then review your proposed floor layouts + lighting plans + give you my thoughts on how they can be improved.
Kitchen planning
We all know that kitchens are the heart of a home. But lack of time + care means they can be badly designed + badly laid out, which is off-putting to buyers.
I can help you put some creative + strategic thought into your kitchen design, making sure the layout and finish are design-led, so no space is wasted + the kitchen becomes the focal point of your property, easier to use + sells itself.
Design Concept
I present a design brief for your approval, which will display the overall look + feel of the property. Then, once you’ve fed back, I’ll create your design concept.
Now we know the layout, it’s time to think about the tiny details that you may overlook but which make a big difference to your target market. This includes everything from the look + feel of communal + outdoor spaces to ironmongery, skirting board sizes & cuts, front door design + colours, floor colour + laying style, carpets, wardrobes sanitaryware, taps + shower heads. Even the style of the loo!
Once we’ve pinned down your look, I’ll produce a full finishing schedule list, connecting you to any suppliers I feel are relevant for your project.
Design Development + Implementation
During the development phase, I will keep in contact with your project managers + contractors + will make sure the design is implemented as per your concept. I’ll liaise with kitchen suppliers + overview drawings; monitoring the installation of all finishes + attending site
progress meetings. I’ll also liaise with tradespeople + the project manager to make sure the concept is well executed when it’s installed.
